Horse Riding for Brothers and Sisters!

Dear brothers/sisters,

LTUIS along with RMITIS have organised a horse riding trip for both brothers and sisters! This will be a day packed with excitement, and will be followed with a free BBQ and soccer game. Prices have been subsidised to reduce the cost to you. Please send me an email if you have any questions or concerns.

Price: $55 per person includes a 3 hour Horse Ride Free BBQ, Bus Trip & Soccer Game

Priority will be given to RMIT and Latrobe University Students

Note: the trip has been HEAVILY subsidized by both Islamic societies, making it cheaper for members.

Inshallah everyone enjoyed the horse riding trip? Can we please get some feedback from the brothers and sisters who attended (or heard feedback), so we can know what worked and what to improve for next time?

I'll try and tell the sisters that went to register on the forum and give feedback or i'll get them to write it down and i'll post it up here, insha Allaah. So far I have one feedback which was done via SMS, but will post it up when I get more.

JuzaakumaAllahu khairan to anyone who made this possible. I won't name names, but truly to Allah is your reward, and He is the Most Generous.

It was fun, great and a bit scary.

But..alhumdulilahi rabil 'aalameen..it was the best..to those who didn't make it..you missed out, but inshaAllah..you go one day.

All sisters rated between 8-10 for the trip. The majority of them gave it a 9/10. They have been asking to have the same event again this year

They believed it was well organised, thoroughly planned and a good choice of activities. They really enjoyed the soccer game so more sporting events in the future should be considered.

In terms of improvement, the only thing that I think should be worked on is how the sisters' work together to help each other out. I don't think it was appropriate for the brothers to clean up after the sisters, so inshaAllah next time we should all work together to pack and unpack.

Overall, it was a good day out
