Feedback for Tuesday (IAW) '09
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the Worlds. And may the blessings and peace be upon the seal of the Prophets, Nabi Mohammad (SAW).
As-Salamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmat Allahi Wa Barakatuh
First and foremost all credit belongs to Allah; the Most Gracious the Most Merciful, Who has blessed us on another successful day. I believe that today was the most important day out of this week and Alhamdulilah it successfulness was proportional to it. It was all positive feedback on the brothers side, even though we didn’t have much attendance; i think all up we had like 10-12 people come in. The results of this day will not be known in the near future, but let us make Du’a that it would be beneficial on scales of Day of Judgment.
Jazakallahu khyar for every one that participated and assisted in and out of the prayer room. Especially for those sisters that stayed back last night to clean up the prayer room.
P.S make Du’a to Allah that those people that came today who are in search for a eternal purpose in life can be given the rope of guidance from Allah.

Alhamdulliah everything went well on the sisters side as well and we all enjoyed our time. We had about 30 people come in on the sisters side, which was way more than last year Alhamdullilah. All praise it due to Allah (S.W.T) for making it successful.
Once again thanks alot to everyone who helped out today, we really appreciate it.

Alhamdulillah, it was an excellent day, may Allah reward all those involved. It looked to be very beneficial, and inshallah that is the case for those who attended as well as helped. Jazaakumullahu khayr to all the sisters who helped 'pretty' up the place, and to all the brothers who did an excellent cleanup on saturday - some even stayed till Isha time, mashallah, May Allah reward all involved- ameen.
I noticed something funny today; The difference between the approach of the males and the approach of the females. All the males who came into the prayer room were very serious, and all they really wanted was answers and to be taught. They weren't in the least interested in things like biscuits, drinks, or even the dress-ups! And subhanallah, it seems the females that came in were more into the fun/lighter side of things. Lots of jokes, laughter, and generally having fun. It's quite amazing how the different genders approach things. Inshallah they both benefited

Wa alaykum salaam warahmuaAllahi wabarakaatuhu,
Firstly alhumdulilahi rabil 'aalameen!!!!!!!!!!
SubhanaAllah, first event I went for IAW and I absolutly LOVED it !
MashaAllah tabarakaAllah I absolutely loved the atmosphere. May Allah 'azzawajal allow you to continue to make da'wah and prosper. Aameen! Thumma aameen!
'Umar bin Al-Khattab radyaAllahu 'anhu narrated that the prophet sallal lahu 'alayhi wasalam said:
'O people! The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So, whoever emigrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his emigration was for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever emigrated to take worldly benefit or for a woman to marry, then his emigration was for what he emigrated for." Sahih Bukhaari
JuzaakumaAllahu khairan,
RMIT student who was VERY impressed by LTUIS. MashaAllah tabarakaAllah. May Allah 'azzawajal allow you to continue and prosper as an Islamic Society. Aameen.

ameen to all the adiyah.
Mohamad: Actually there were also v. serious females that came in as they left their details, etc - but the majority were just either eager to see what's in the prayer room or to try on a scarf/get some henna done.
may Allaah ta'aala guide them to enter islaam completely as He guided them to enter His house today, learn about His religion and be amongst the Muslims.
In all, I enjoyed the day, wal-hamdulillaah.

Jazakallhu khyar for all the sisters that came from RMIT and participated in this event; may Allah reward you guys and give back your prayer room that you rightly deserve.
Mohammad: i think the brothers had more fun then the sisters, who said you have to be loud to be content.

Amal: may Allaah preserve you and all our RMIT brethren, ameen. Wallaahi, just the fact that you sisters made an effort to come down all the way from the city and even those on the bundoora campus shows what brotherhood/sisterhood in the deen is.
As Allaah ta'aala says in al-hujaraat: "The Believers are but a single Brotherhood." [Al-Hujurat 49:10] *smile*

Asalamu Alaykum all ,
MashaAllah it sounds like the day was incredible, may Allah reward all immensely. I was deeply disappointed that for the first I couldn’t be there but Khair inshallah.

Asalamu alaykum everyone,
Indeed it was an awsome day by the grace of Allah s.w.t.
Br Ibrahim (LOL), we had fun too (MORE THAN YOU)!. However your right the fact that you dont
have to be loud to have fun. InshaAllah in the future we'll try to keep it down but we cant help
it at times.
JakaAllahu kheyr to the LTUIS members who put in their immense efforts to make it a success. Oh and also to those who participated.
May Allah reward you all

The lectures that were given in the yellow bags were absolutely fantastic I can't wait to give them to my non muslim friend. They were such a good choice of lectures to choose - especially the one shiekh Khalid Yasin gave defining what Islam is.
I think it would be really good if RMITIS did the same islamic awareness week but we cant cos our prayer room is at the back of a building that nobody walks past =(

Oh ok, because i thought she would. Alhamdulilah majority of the males that attended the prayer room were very curious people; except for a few that were there to argue , but Alhamdulilah the brothers delt with them accordingly. Some times a few words the job
