Feedback for Wednesday (IAW) '09
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the Worlds. And may the blessings and peace be upon the seal of the Prophets, Nabi Mohammad (SAW).
As-Salamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmat Allahi Wa Barakatuh
Alhamdulilah so far this week we had nothing but success; none can take the credit but Allah. I was there at the start but had to leave early so whoever was there please inform, also how much was raised; was it better than last year etc.
Also can someone put some pics up
Jazakallah khyar

Wa Alaykum wa Salaam,
Yes Indeed this week has been SUCCESSFUL Alhamdulliah but not without the help of Allah (S.W.T.)
Today was also great, the food was nice and it was really fun Alahmdullilah.
We ran out food by about 2pm so we packed up early but thats a good thing because last year we had too much food left over. I have to say both last year and this year were good but more money was raised this year i believe alhamdullilah.
The only problem in terms of food was that we didn't have enough savory food as most of the people made cakes, sweets etc but we still sold everything alhamdulliah so it doesnt matter that much i guess.
JazzakAllahu Kahir to everyone who helped/volunteered and participated in todays event, may Allah reward you all Ameen.
The three biggest days are over alhamdullilah and inshaAllah witht the help of Allah the all mighty tomorow and Friday will be successful as well. Ameen.

Assalamu alaikum everyone,
I must say that today was absolutely fantastic!! I have served and sold the food for the last three years and this year was definitely a highlight. Alhamdulillah, I believe that we almost doubled how much money we made last year.
It's a shame that we didn't get as much savoury... it must be because of the guidelines I set for the food. Seriously people, I had to do it, last year the food safety inspector drove us crazy and stopped us from selling so much of our food. Alhamdulillah we did not have any problems with the food safety inspectors this year.
I love Islamic Awareness Week, it'll be sad when it's over but also a relief that we managed to pull it off successully.

i think $1100, not sure though (ive just heard that from word of mouth)
i havent been able to help with any gathering occurring for IAW 2009, but i did pop in to see the bake sale today and nothing was left (like around 1).
i also missed out on the henna .
Well done girls (pat on the back).

Actually, i think we raised $1,800 and yes Jamie, it was great because we all wore prink and because your parents in law graced us with their presence. It wouldn't have been the same if they didn't attend....

Masha Allah, seems like the past two days have been successful. Pity, I couldn't make it as I was not feeling well.
P.s can't believe I missed out on all the sisters being all pretty in pink! I must see photos, insha Allah!

Wa alaikum salaam, Halima.
Aww ameen sister. Yeah, got a bit of a flu. Nothing serious so alhamdulilah. Insha Allah, I'll try to make it to the lecture. Feel like I have missed out on IAW entirely! Insha Allah though, there is always next year
